Introduction:
The main objective of this course is that participants are exposed to the knowledge and ins and outs of operating Material Handling Equipment (stacker) safely. Participants were also exposed to aspects
of safety aspects involving direct and indirect operations. Participants will also be given written and practical tests to determine whether they are qualified as certified MHE operators. This course focuses on ‘Behaviour Based Safety’
Learning Objectives:
Knowledge related to stacker machinery and operations that will be carried out.
Understand the types and characteristics of Material Handling Equipment used in
warehouse operation.
Conduct self-inspection (audit) of the machine so that safety and maintenance aspects can be controlled properly.
Making the stacker operator a competent person in terms of knowledge, skills and
responsible for complying with the SOPs
