2 DAYS TRAINING
Introduction:
At many times, problems are not defined clearly, decisions are only based on assumptions or hunches and a systematic approach is not used. Because of all these issues, the 8-Disciplines Problem Solving Technique or 8D was pioneered by the Ford Motor Company and is commonly used to solve
complex problems. It provides a systematic and effective approach to solve a problem and promotes the use of expertise and experience within the organization to address the root cause. 8D uses composite problem-solving methodology, by borrowing tools and techniques from various approaches. This workshop will use an 80% practical hands-on & 20% theory approach.
Learning Objectives:
Use structured problem solving and corrective action methodology based on the 8D process model.
Enhance organizational ability to trace a problem to the root cause level.
Incorporate applicable QC tools within the 8D process.
