Introduction:
Accident and emergencies can happen anywhere and anytime. The likelihood of this happening in the work place increases significantly especially when the work involved in hazardous and dangerous. Loss of productive time, personnel and money is a very well-recognized aftermath.
Casualties succumb to their injuries before they reach medical facility and the company loses its most skillful, productive hand. Fortunately, this is preventable with proper training. Proper handling of accident victims contributes significantly to the final outcome for the victim. It is for these reasons we propose the Basic Occupational First Aid and CPR training programme or Occupational Emergency First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Emergency First Response Team
Level 3 (BEFRT) programme.
Learning Objectives:
The objective of this program is to equip participants with knowledge and skills on First Aid, CPR or Emergency Response to able them to deal with common injuries and life – saving skills at workplace.
